Terms of Service
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using the ParaFile media platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and ParaFile ("Service", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of para-file.com, including all associated software, APIs, subdomains, and media management services.
Users of all ages are welcome to use ParaFile. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, 6-digit Private Vault PINs, and album passphrases against unauthorized disclosure or misuse. If you access the Service on behalf of a company, organization, or studio, you confirm that you have the requisite authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Account Registration & Security Responsibilities To unlock full storage allocations and gallery features, you must register an account by providing a valid email address and password. You agree to provide accurate, complete information and maintain its accuracy over time.
You are exclusively responsible for all activities and uploads conducted through your credentials. You must immediately notify ParaFile of any known or suspected breach of security. ParaFile cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with security requirements.
3. User Content, Ownership & Grant of Limited License You retain complete, unencumbered intellectual property ownership, copyright, and moral rights in and to all photographs, images, videos, albums, and metadata uploaded to the Service ("User Content"). ParaFile asserts zero ownership claims over your work.
By uploading User Content, you grant ParaFile a strictly limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license solely to store, cache, replicate across authorized multi-region storage infrastructure, and transmit your media as necessary to provide the Service to you and your authorized viewers.
Crucially, ParaFile will never sell, license, broker, or utilize your User Content to train artificial intelligence, machine learning models, or automated computer vision datasets.
4. Prohibited Content & Code of Conduct You agree not to upload, store, distribute, or link to any User Content that: - Infringes copyright, trademark, patent, or proprietary rights of third parties without explicit legal authorization. - Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or non-consensual imagery. - Contains malicious code, ransomware, automated scraping scripts, or payloads designed to compromise server infrastructure. - Directly promotes illegal violence, terrorist activity, or criminal fraud.
ParaFile reserves the right to remove non-compliant content and suspend or permanently terminate offending accounts without refund.
5. Service Quotas, Fair Bandwidth & Storage Retention Storage capacity, single upload boundaries, and Private Vault limits are determined by your active subscription tier (Free Starter, Creator Pro, Studio Max).
Bandwidth delivery across our edge CDN is unmetered for legitimate creator distribution. However, ParaFile reserves the right to throttle or restrict access if traffic patterns represent deliberate DDoS attacks, automated leeching, or abusive hotlinking by third-party services.
Items placed in Trash are retained for 14 days (Free Starter), 30 days (Creator Pro), or 60 days (Studio Max) before permanent automated purging.
6. Subscriptions, Multi-Currency Billing & Refunds Paid subscriptions may be billed on a monthly or annual basis in either Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) or US Dollars ($ USD) based on your configured billing preference.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via Account Settings. Access will continue until the conclusion of the paid billing period. Due to immediate infrastructure allocation costs, subscription fees are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable consumer protection laws.
7. Account Erasure & Data Portability You may request complete account termination and permanent data erasure at any time via Account Settings. All database rows, authentication tokens, and physical storage blobs will be irreversibly erased within 24 to 48 hours in compliance with GDPR and CCPA mandates.
8. Limitation of Liability & Contact To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ParaFile and its officers, directors, employees, and infrastructure partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from loss of data or service interruption.
